More than ever, winter will be about skiing.

Bromont, montagne d’expériences is preparing its ski season by working closely with the Association des stations de ski du Québec (ASSQ) and public authorities to implement effective preventive and sanitary measures to limit the risk of spreading COVID-19.

These measures will be set out in a plan to be unveiled shortly by the ASSQ.
Directives will be issued concerning :

  • The capacity of the site
  • The capacity of the chalets
  • The use of ski lifts
  • Distancing measures
  • The wear of the face covering
  • Locker rentals
  • Storage of personal belongings
  • Equipment rentals

The station is committed to setting up all necessary measures to ensure the health and safety of its customers and staff.

Guaranteed season program

In response to the COVID-19 situation, Bromont, montagne d’expériences has introduced a program to reassure customers wishing to take advantage of the best rates for the 2020–21 ski season.

The Guaranteed Season program offers all eligible season pass holders who prefer not to ski during the 2020–21 season, whatever the reason, the option to:

  • Postpone their season pass to the 2021–22 season at no additional cost and with no rate increase;
    OR
  • Request a full refund of their season pass.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the customer must:

  • Have purchased a 2020–21 season pass before 11:59 p.m. on October 13, 2020.
  • Not have used their season pass for any lift or gondola ride during fall 2020.
  • Not have used their season pass in any way before December 4, 2020.
  • Not be enrolled in the payment plan.

Cost

There is no fee for the program. All customers who purchase a season pass before 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, are automatically enrolled.

Postponement: Terms and Conditions

  • The postponement request must be made between October 1 and December 4, 2020, by the pass holder. An online form will be available.
  • A postponed pass cannot be transferred to another person.
    If the 2021–22 season pass rate is higher, the purchaser will not have to pay the difference.
  • The season pass must not have been used.
  • The “Bring a Friend” discount or other benefits must not have been used.
  • Postponement is available for any type of season pass.

Refund: Terms and Conditions

  • The refund request must be made between October 1 and December 4, 2020, by the person who paid for the pass. An online form will be available.
  • The season pass must not have been used.
  • The “Bring a Friend” discount or other benefits must not have been used.
  • Refunds are available for any type of season pass.

Payment plan

New for 2020! The resort is offering customers the option of paying for their season pass in instalments.

Eligibility

All customers purchasing individual or family season passes may choose the option to pay in many instalments. Valid only for online purchases made through the Bromont, montagne d’expériences website.

Payment dates

4 to 5 instalments, depending on the date of purchase (Anytime, 7-Day, Zenith, Almost Anytime, and Weekdays Max passes):

  • 1st: When purchasing
  • 2nd: October 15, 2020
  • 3rd: November 15, 2020
  • 4th: December 15, 2020
  • 5th : January 15, 2021

3 to 4 instalments, depending on the date of purchase (7-Night, M2J and Mont Soleil passes):

  • 1st: When purchasing
  • 2nd: October 15, 2020
  • 3rd: November 15, 2020
  • 4th : December 15, 2020

Deposit and taxes applicable on the 1st instalment.

Terms and Conditions

  • The Payment Plan does not apply to grouped season passes.
  • A missed instalment will result in automatic suspension of the season pass.
  • Gift cards are accepted only for the first payment, provided that they cover the total value of the payment.
  • No changes to the type of season pass can be made until all payments have been received.
  • Passes purchased with the instalment payment option are eligible for the Guaranteed Season program.

With the government authorization, the mountain bike season is open since May 22nd. We invite you to read the details below.

Caution! Anyone who does not respect these guidelines could be banned from the site for the rest of the season.

The health instructions repeated by the Government apply:

  • Wear a face covering in the indoor common areas (toilets, chalets, restaurants…) – Mandatory for everyone aged 10 and over.
  • Respect a distance of 2 meters between each individual.
  • Wash hands with soap and water frequently.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with your elbow when coughing and sneezing.
  • Throw away tissues immediately after use and wash your hands.
  • No one is allowed to visit the station with symptoms similar to those of COVID-19.

 

The client must:

  • Favor reload on the Web to purchase tickets or a season pass if they already have a reloadable card.
  • Wash their hands before:
    • each ascent and when arriving at the summit;
    • going to the ticket booth;
    • visiting eating areas;
    • entering the Rental Centre;
    • entering the Repair shop.
  • Limit the number of people from the same family in the buildings.
  • Favor contactless payment methods at the various points of service.
  • Hook its bike to the chairlift and accept that the saddle and handlebars be disinfected before being handled by our employees.
  • Go up the lift alone (except for young children) on the Versant du Village Lift. On the Versant du Lac lift, people can go up the lift 2 by 2 if both are wearing a face covering.
  • Observe the directional display
  • Avoid gatherings

 

Additional actions took by the company

  • Closure of the interior Customer Service counter. Customers will be served at the ticket booth.
  • Addition of Plexiglas partitions at the Rental Centre, the Repair Shop, and the restaurant point La Marina.
  • Control of the number of customers inside the Rental Centre and Repair Shop buildings.
  • Installation of protective plastics on payment terminals and computer keyboards.
  • Regular disinfection of frequently used objects (tables, chairs, payment terminals, lift security bar, door handles, etc.).
  • Return of cards in contactless boxes.
  • Use of gloves, face covering, and visors by some employees.
  • Bike disinfection and protective equipment for each return of rental bikes- Removal of gates from access control barriers to limit physical contact with equipment.
  • Closing of the Ski School counter.

Bromont, would like to remind you that it is putting in place all the dispositions requested by Public Health and even more. Visitors to the mountain also have a responsibility to maximize the means to protect themselves and others.

 

About wearing the face covering

Wearing a mask is mandatory in the indoor common areas, for clients aged 10 and over*.

The targeted locations are as follows:

  • Restrooms;
  • Altitude;
  • Le Refuge;
  • Repair Shop;
  • Rental Shop;
  • Chalet du Sommet;
  • Chalet du Lac;
  • Chalet Soleil.

In the case of forgetfulness, single-use face covering will be sold at the reception desk.

*People whose particular medical condition prevents them from wearing the face covering, as well as those who are not able to put on or remove it by themselves, are not covered by the obligation to wear the face cover. For children between 2 and 9 years of age, wearing the mask is recommended, but not mandatory.

Maximum capacity and wearing the face covering in the lifts

La Directe – Versant du Village 

Considering the duration of the lift, only one passenger per chair is allowed, except for a child accompanied by a parent. The face covering is optional.

  • Passengers sharing the same address : 1 max (mask optional)
  • Passengers from different residences : 1 max (mask optional)

L’Express du Lac – Versant du Lac

As the ascent time is short, 2 passengers of different addresses are tolerated, provided that they sit at each end and that both wear a face covering.

  • Passengers sharing the same address : 2 max (mask optional)
  • Passengers from different residences : 2 max (mask mandatory)

With the authorization of the Public Health Department, the Water Park is opened since June 29!

Preventive measures related to the fight against coronavirus have been put in place to ensure the health and safety of clients and staff.

The station commits to apply all the recommendations of the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ) and the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST). It also follows the COVID-19 health safety plan for the tourism industry as well as the one specific to water parks.

Site and pools capacities

The maximum capacity has been significantly reduced in order to respect the recommended physical distance.

Pool capacity is also being reduced and monitored by field staff.

 

About wearing the mask

Wearing a mask is mandatory in indoor common areas for clients 10 years of age and older*.

The places concerned are as follows:

  • Restrooms;
  • Altitude;
  • Le Refuge;
  • Repair Shop;
  • Rental Shop;
  • Chalet du Sommet;
  • Chalet du Lac;
  • Chalet Soleil.

In the case of forgetfulness, single-use face covering will be sold at the reception desk.

Gondola lifts are considered closed public places. Wearing a mask is mandatory in order to protect the following passengers.

  • Passengers sharing the same address : 8 max (mask mandatory)
  • Passengers from different residences : 2 max (mask mandatory)

L’Express du Village – Versant du Village (chairs)

Two passengers residing at two different addresses may board together, without masks, as long as they are seated at each of the extremities, as the distance between them is sufficient.

  • Passengers sharing the same address : 6 max (mask optional)
  • Passengers from different residences : 3 max (mask mandatory)
  • Passengers from different residences : 2 max (mask optional)
