The Festival Gravité Bromont is a gathering of activities headlined by the Quebec Downhill Championships! A jam-packed weekend for bikers of all ages. Whip off, Dual Slalom, and kids’ races are among the activities that will be offered. It’s not to be missed!
WHIPITT
The WHIPITT is a jam-style event. This means that all participants will be mixed together and will launch themselves at their chosen moment to perform their jumps. It is not a competition, but rather a friendly activity with participation prizes.

Championnat intergalactique des petits vélo du monde
Le Championnat intergalactique des petits vélo du monde is an event for children aged 1 to 6 on balance bikes or pedal bikes who want to experience a race in a fun context. Young participants in different categories will start in a mass start on a marked course for a predetermined duration suitable for their age.

Dual Slalom
Le Dual Slalom is a competitive elimination-style event featuring duels. Opponents will start simultaneously on their respective courses. They will then switch courses and do another timed run. The sum of the time differences will determine who advances to the next round.

Quebec Downhill Championships
The Quebec Championships aim to recognize the performances of the best Quebec athletes, whether amateur or professional, on a more advanced course. In 2024, the Quebec Downhill Championships will be the first stage of the Quebec Downhill Cup.
Schedule for Friday, July 5th
– 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Free practice
– 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. (registration desk): Bracelet pickup for course inspection on foot
– 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.: Course inspection on foot in the downhill course
Schedule for Saturday, July 6th
– 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (registration desk): Plate and chip pickup
– 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.: Course inspection on foot without lift access
– 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Training period open to all categories on both courses
– 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.: Training period reserved for Sport, U15, and Women’s categories. Both courses are accessible
– 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.: Training period reserved for U17, U19, Master Expert, and Senior Elite M/F categories
– 3 p.m.: Seeding run

– 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Training period reserved for Sport, U15, and Women’s categories. Both courses are accessible
– 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Training period reserved for U17 M/F, U19 M/F, Master M/F, and Elite M/F categories
– 1:30 p.m.: Finals

Mountain Bike Lift Ticket (BME)
The lift ticket is mandatory for using the ski lifts. Holders of an unlimited mountain biking season pass at Bromont, montagne d’expériences, do not need to make any additional purchases for lift access. For those who do not have a Bromont, montagne d’expériences biking season pass, daily tickets at a preferential rate will be available for riders only. Ticket purchases will be made directly during your online race registration. Tickets will be issued to you at the registration desk during its opening hours or directly at the Pittstop Vélo-Café on Friday before noon.
FQSC License
To participate in a race sanctioned by the FQSC, you must have a valid competitive license.
