We know it can be confusing to figure out how to use each lift with your bike. To make things easier, the Lift Team has taken the time to explain the role of their staff and what they do to assist you.
Everyone’s Roles
First, know that there are always at least 2 employees at the base of a lift: a lift attendant and an operator.
The lift attendant
He’s the first person you’ll see! He’s stationed before you board, he’s responsible for validating the RFID system and is always there to help with your bike.
The operator
The operator’s role is to manage the lift and oversee the loading of bikes and riders. They stay near the control console and remain alert in case of an emergency stop. If necessary, he can assist the lift attendant.
Multiple lifts, multiple vibes!
The working methods you will find below have been developed through the collaboration of employees, team leaders, coordinators, and the Lift Supervisor. Our teams have observed, analyzed, and tested various methods to find those that offer the most benefits and the fewest drawbacks for both the staff and the customers.
Express des Épinettes and Express du Village
At the bottom, staff are available to assist you with loading your bike if needed. Simply push your bike into the rack and you’re good to go. You can also take advantage of our new bike racks at the Express des Épinettes, which are lower and designed to make loading easier for everyone.
At the top, our new disengagement system fully stops the bike rack for 6 seconds, allowing you to unload your bike on your own. While this may seem quick, the rack stops very close to your chair, giving you enough time. Staff are also nearby to assist you if needed, with one team member at the top of Express des Épinettes and two at the top of Express du Village.
We hope this short guide helps you better understand the procedures for each lift at Bromont.
Enjoy your ride!
