Here’s Annie, a Bromont local and ski enthusiast. She’s been enjoying her winter with her Infinity pass and shares her perfect day on the mountain with us.

The First Tracks of the Morning
Arriving a few minutes before opening ensures I’m among the first on the slopes. In the lift line, the excitement of fellow ski enthusiasts is palpable, and I recognize some of the regulars. Once on the Village Express, I open my Bromont mobile app to track my runs
Fun and Vibes on the Slopes
First run: Bedford. I savor every turn on the freshly groomed snow, I’ve been looking forward to this all week. My legs start to warm up, and I fully enjoy these first tracks of the day, feeling incredibly fortunate to be here!
I head back up to take the Knowlton. I pause for a moment at the top of the first pitch: WOW, what a view! I continue down without stopping so I can immediately ride back up and make the most of the first tracks, every minute counts! On the chairlift, it’s time to chat and share our thoughts on the runs, even with strangers. I love the unique atmosphere of a Saturday morning, where all the skiing enthusiasts come together.
Perfect Turns on Versant du Lac and des Épinettes
From there, I glide toward Coupe du Monde before making my way to Versant du Lac. With the sun shining, New York is perfect for linking long, smooth turns while taking in the scenery. I ride back up immediately to descend Détroit and then head to Versant des Épinettes, which opens at 9:30, so I can enjoy first tracks again on Cornwall and the other freshly groomed runs.
Every turn is pure joy, we glide as smoothly as butter, just as Mathieu Dufour said. After so many runs, my legs start to feel it, but that’s exactly the intense activity I love!
A Well-Deserved Break at the Summit
I finish my circuit with a few runs on Versant du Midi and Côte-Ouest before heading back to the Express du Lac and making my way to the summit for a well-deserved break. I take the opportunity to enjoy a latte and a pastry at the Chalet du Sommet, it’s my little tradition. Inevitably, I’ll run into friends or other Infinity Pass holders, giving us a chance to chat and enjoy the moment in good company!

And We Do It All Over Again Tomorrow!
If I still have energy, the afternoon is all mine, same runs, same sensations. And the next morning, it starts again: first tracks and the joy of being back on the mountain at sunrise.
Keep Your Eyes Open: Charles Désourdy, President of Bromont, montagne d’expériences, often follows a similar route on Saturday and Sunday mornings, don’t hesitate to say hello if you spot him!
