Press release

The summer season has begun!

The Bromont, montagne d’expériences (BME) Water Park opens its doors on Monday, June 13. For the occasion, close to 1,000 young people will be there to celebrate the end of the school year and enjoy the waterslides and heated pools.

Summer 2022 marks a return to normal and the site will be open every day at full capacity. “We are very happy to be able to welcome back school and corporate groups after two years of the pandemic,” says Marc-André Meunier, BME’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “That’s the big difference this year, we are back to 100% operations, with no restrictions.”

Water Park

This summer, families will be able to enjoy the new Chalet Soleil, whose construction was completed in the fall of 2021. Adjacent to the wave pool, it will house a new ice cream shop and a terrace.

Another new feature, the new Moussaillons slide, will open in July and will replace the old Colimaçons slide, much to the delight of the little ones!

Finally, a Water Park ticket will also include the alpine luge, access to our hiking trails, gondola rides, rock climbing, disc golf and trampoline bungee. Guests can now spend an entire day enjoying the Water Park and Mountain facilities.

The Water Park is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from June 13 to 23, and from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. from June 24 to August 21. The Mountain Activities will be open starting on June 24.

Mountain biking

Mountain biking is also back to normal and has been open from Friday to Sunday since May 20. A new feature for 2022 is the base camp on the Versant du Lac. “We were looking for a way to create a unique atmosphere for biking enthusiasts and to give them a more interesting experience, without having to mix with the guests from the Water Park on the Versant du Village,” explains Mr. Meunier. “The Welcome Desk, the Ticket Office, the Rental Office, the Workshop and the Bike School have therefore been moved to the Versant du Lac for the summer. We believe this will improve the customer experience.”

Finally, in response to the strong interest in sports, BME is extending the operating hours of its lifts. As of June 24, the Express du Lac will be in operation every day in addition to the Directe (Monday to Sunday), the Express du Village (Friday to Sunday) and the Côte-Ouest (Saturday and Sunday).

The mountain bike trails are open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until June 23. They will be open daily from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm from June 24 to August 21.
