Guaranteed season program / 2021-2022

In response to the COVID-19 situation, Bromont, montagne d’expériences has introduced a program to reassure customers wishing to take advantage of the best rates for the 2021–22 ski season.

The Guaranteed Season program offers all eligible season pass holders who prefer not to ski during the 2021–22 season, whatever the reason, the option to:

  • Postpone their pass to the 2022–23 season at no additional cost and with no rate increase;
    OR
  • Request a full refund of their pass.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

  • Have purchased a 2021–22 season pass before the opening of the season.
  • Not have used your pass for any lift or gondola ride during fall 2021.
  • Not have used your pass in any way before the opening of the season.
  • Not having made a request for postponement for the season 2020-2021.
  • Not be enrolled in the payment plan.

Cost

The program is free and is available to all customers who have purchased a 2021-2022 season pass. You must fill out the form on our website before the opening of the season.

Postponement: Terms and Conditions

  • The postponement request must be made between October 1, 2021, and the day before the opening of the ski season, by the pass holder. An online form will be available.
  • A postponed pass cannot be transferred to another person.
  • If the 2022–23 season pass rate is higher, the purchaser will not have to pay the difference.
  • The season pass must not have been used.
  • The “Bring a Friend” discount or other benefits must not have been used.
  • Postponement is available for any type of season pass.
  • Season pass deferral must be in the same category. Proof of age and/or student status will be required for the 2022-2023 season.
    No refund.
  • The deferred season pass will be valid strictly for the 2022-2023 regular season (starting mid-November / early December). If the season pass holder wishes to ski in the spring of 2022, he will have to pay the difference between the regular 2022-2023 rate and the price paid for the 2021-2022 pass.
  • All applications under this program are irreversible once processed.

Refund: Terms and Conditions

  • The refund request must be made between October 1, 2021, and the day before the opening of the ski season, by the person who paid for the pass. In the case of a group 4+ purchase, the refund request must be made by the season pass holder. An online form will be available.
  • The season pass must not have been used.
  • The “Bring a Friend” discount or other benefits must not have been used.
  • Refunds are available for any type of season pass.

*Anyone who has applied for a deferral or refund for their 2021-2022 season pass will not be able to obtain a new one for the same season.

Season interruption due to COVID-19 / 2021-2022

If the station must interrupt its operations during the season at the request of the public authorities, a credit program comes into effect for all season pass holders.

Eligibility

  • Be a season pass holder for 2021-2022 ski season
  • Submit the request form before March 14, 2022.

How it works

The credit will be granted according to the type of season pass, the date of closure, and the number of visits made since the beginning of the season, according to the conditions in the tables below.

Before the opening of the season, the Guaranteed Season Program apply.

After March, 14, no credits are provided.

Terms and conditions

  • The number of uses is calculated since purchase. Ex: If the purchase was made between February 26 and April 12, 2021 and the pass was used during this period, the number of days of skiing in the spring of 2021 will be cumulated in the use of the pass.
  • ” Bring a Friend ” and the fall gondola ride privileges each count as one use if they have been used.
  • If the closure is temporary, the number of days of inactivity will be added to the calculation of the credit amount.
  • The request for credit can be made as soon as the government decree to close the ski resort is announced. If the closure is temporary, requests will be processed at the end of the season or when a permanent closure for the season is announced.  It takes approximately 15 business days to process the claim.
  • A $25 administration fee is applicable. This amount will be deducted from the credit granted.

Payment Plan - 2021 Spring Sale

The resort is offering customers the option of paying for their season pass in instalments.

Eligibility

All customers purchasing individual or family season passes may choose the option to pay in many instalments, depending on the purchase date. Valid only for online purchases made through the Bromont, montagne d’expériences website.

Payment dates

2 to 3 instalments, depending on the date of purchase:

  • 1st: When purchasing
  • 2nd: March, 15, 2021
  • 3rd: April, 15, 2021

After April 1, it will no longer be possible to take advantage of the payment plan for the spring sale. Season passes purchased between April 2 and April 26, 2021 must be paid in one payment.

Deposit and taxes applicable on the 1st instalment.

Terms and Conditions

  • A missed instalment will result in automatic suspension of the season pass.
  • Gift cards are accepted only for the first payment, provided that they cover the total value of the payment.
  • No changes to the type of season pass can be made until all payments have been received.
  • Passes purchased with the instalment payment option are eligible for the Guaranteed Season program.

Ticket credit

Customers may apply the value of a single-day ticket to the purchase of a season pass, subject to certain conditions.

Skiing

To obtain a credit, the season pass purchased must be in the same category as the single-day ticket. E.g., a day skiing ticket cannot be credited toward a 7-Night pass.

If the desired season pass is in a different category from the single-day ticket, a discount will be offered on the price of the single-day ticket and the full price will be charged for the season pass.

The pass must be purchased on the same day the ticket is used.

Water Park and Mountain Activities

To obtain credit, the customer must go to the Customer Service counter on the day of their visit, wearing their wristband. They will be asked to show proof of purchase.

Mountain Biking

To obtain a credit, the customer must go to the Customer Service counter on the day of their visit, with their ticket and proof of purchase.

Seasonal Rental : Exceptional measures COVID-19

Claim for refund

People who have rented seasonal equipment can, exceptionally this year, take advantage of a full refund if they change their mind before the season opens.

Eligibility

  • Submit a refund request by email to infolocation@skibromont.com before December 4, 2020.
  • Return the equipment to the station before December 4, 2020.

Terms and Conditions

Refunds will be made when returning the equipment to the station.

 

Season Interruption

If the station has to interrupt its activities at the request of the public authorities, a reimbursement program will come into effect. Refund will be made on a pro rata basis according to the number of weeks interrupted (based on a 14-week season: December 14 to March 28).

Credit request - Moving or illness

A person can request a credit on their season pass if:

  • A medical reason prevents him from continuing his season.
  • If they move out of the province.

In the case of a medical reason, the season pass holder must provide a dated doctor’s note attesting to his or her inability to practice a snow sport.

In the case of a move, the season pass holder must provide dated proof of out-of-province relocation (e.g., lease, proof of employment transfer).

By completing the form, the applicant agrees to provide the required documentation and accepts all terms and conditions of this credit application program.

Conditions

  • All requests must be made by the holder of the season pass.
  • The completed form must be submitted before the end of the season pass validity.
  • Acceptance or rejection of the request is at the sole discretion of management. A reasonable time for processing the request is to be expected (min. 15 working days). This delay applies from the receipt of the required information and/or documents.
  • The amount credited is calculated according to the use of the season pass.
  • A $30 administrative fee applies.
  • The credit is issued on a gift card valid on all Bromont, montagne d’expériences products if the amount is less than $500. If the amount is more than $500, a refund is made on a credit card.
  • The applicant can retrieve the gift card by going to Customer Service during business hours.
  • A mailing service is available. Charges apply.
  • All applications to this program are irreversible once processed.

Guaranteed conditions

A customer who is not satisfied with the ski conditions may request a ticket of the same value for a future visit during the same season.

Eligibility

  • Hold a ski ticket for the day of the request.
  • Formulate the request within half an hour of arrival or after a descent by going to Customer Service.

Closings and compensation

Thunderstorms

In the event of a thunderstorm, all activities at the resort will cease for a minimum of 30 minutes after each thunderclap. No compensation measures are offered.

Ski lift stoppage

In the event of momentary stoppage of a chair or gondola lift, users may be offered compensation depending on the length of the service interruption. Teams on site will determine whether compensation is warranted and decide what type should be offered, if applicable.

Full closing

If imminent full closing of the resort is announced, provision is made for compensation based on the use of the single-day ticket. Users must go to the Customer Service counter to request compensation, if applicable.

Partial closing

In the event of partial closing of the resort, no compensation measures are offered.

Early closing

If early closing of the resort is announced, no day ticket refund is offered. A discount may be offered on the price of a future visit, if the ticket is purchased on the same day as the closing.

Exception: The holder of a ticket purchased online, upon learning of an early closing, may request a refund of that ticket in exchange for a discounted onsite ticket valid for that day.

UNUSED TICKET FROM THE PREVIOUS SEASON

The station will honour the value of an unused ticket from the previous season for a ticket of the same length and category from the current season. However, the customer must pay the difference in price, if applicable.

Accompaniment of persons with reduced mobility

A free ticket is offered to the companion of a person with reduced mobility with the purchase of a day ticket at a regular price.

General terms and conditions

  • Ski tickets are not included, except for initiation plans.
  • All prices are per person.
  • A minimum number of registrations is required for the program to be offered.
  • Taxes are not included in the prices indicated. Rates are valid for the 2020-2021 season.
  • Payment will be required upon reservation.
  • Our tickets and season passes are now issued on online reloadable cards. A refundable deposit of $5 (GST and PST not applicable) will be added on each season pass or ticket purchased.
