In fact, since he became president in 1998, snowmaking has always been the core element of the mountain, whose snowmaking capacity continues to increase every year. That\u2019s why Charles is always looking for ways we can improve and that\u2019s his main focus each day. A graduate in civil engineering from McGill University, he was also president of the Quebec Ski Area Association from 1999 to 2005 and remained on the board for 20 years (wow!).” moment=”“When the Express du Village with the gondolas was introduced in 2018. That’s a moment I won’t forget. He then joined the Bromont team and actively participated in the mountain’s development plan and in the creation of Projet Altitude. At the same time, he participated in various boards of directors. Claude says that he is still impressed by the scope of the ski operations on the 7 slopes and that Bromont is definitely unique in the ski world.” moment=”“Before the Chalet du Sommet was built, Charles wanted us to be involved in deciding where it would be located. So, with the help of a hydraulic platform at the top, the management team took turns climbing into the gondola to simulate, with the help of a GPS, the correct height of the view we would get when sitting in the new chalet. A long-time guest of the mountain, he chose Bromont for a change of scenery and to step away from the manufacturing industry. He quickly rediscovered what motivates him every day: the Bromont spirit, this warm, people-driven energy that brings teams together around a shared passion. He joined the team in early 2025. Today, he oversees operations across the mountain, from the water park to biking and winter activities, including trail maintenance, snowmaking, lifts, and ski patrol. Each day, Daniela enjoys the dynamics of teamwork and being close to nature. In addition to having this extensive background in the hospitality trade, Marie-\u00c8ve holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management from Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (UQAM) and the Insitut de tourisme et d\u2019h\u00f4tellerie du Qu\u00e9bec (ITHQ), as well as an A.E.C in accounting. It\u2019s no surprise to learn that what she loves most about the restaurant business is the balance between the very logical side of the business (which appeals to Marie-\u00c8ve\u2019s methodical side) and customer service where she can allow her creativity free rein (her playful side).” moment=”“When I came to work at the mountain, I realized that after three years in accounting, what made me happiest was being back in the restaurant business,\u201d says Marie-\u00c8ve. \u201cI really missed the human contact. Curious and eager to help, she lent a hand to the team and earned a position as a project technician. She then continued as a real estate project manager, completed her internship at Bromont, and, graduating in December 2019, continued her journey within the organization. In 2024, she was promoted to Director.
